For most people, interior photography that includes windows to the outside, rarely result in a good photograph. For example, the photo above was taken with a good point & shoot camera but resulted in a poor quality image. Unfortunately, this is the type of photo you often see used in Real Estate marketing efforts. The main problem with this shot is that the window areas are completely over exposed or “Blown Out” in photographers terms. This is because there is a tremendous variation in the amount or brightness of the light outdoors compared to the interior lighting. Even the most expensive cameras are not able to capture what the human eye along with the human brain can process.
